Twitter is testing a new kind of app install “card” on the mobile versions of profile pages for various news sites. They appear to give users the ability to install the sites’ apps,
reports TechCrunch, which first noticed the feature in an iPhone Twitter app on the profile page for The New York Times. “Twitter is also testing it on its own properties,” it notes.
