REVOLVING DOOR: Patty Brebner Joins Wieden+Kennedy As Director Of Integrated Production

Wieden+Kennedy Portland (W+K) named Patty Brebner as director of integrated production, a new role at the agency. Brebner will oversee all production disciplines, including: broadcast, interactive, art (production), business affairs, studio and content services. Brebner joined W+K in 1996 as a broadcast producer working on Microsoft and Nike. In 2000, she was asked to serve as executive producer for JOINT, a post-production house that operated independently, yet was housed inside the W+K building. Today JOINT is a fully integrated creative post-production company, with offices in Portland and New York City, specializing in video content for TV, online, mobile and live experiences. "The demand for content, the myriad storytelling platforms, and the need to produce quickly has changed our production realities," said Mark Fitzloff, executive creative director of W+K. "What hasn't changed is our desire to tell rich stories and create effective work. We realized we needed to reframe the production department internally." Added Brebner: "I love to make things, to build things, innovate, imagine and dream big. Production is a creative discipline at its core; there have never been more ways for production to support and express a creative vision."
