New York-Based Strawberry Frogger Heads to Minneapolis

Minneapolis is cool. Really really cool. Sort of like New York is in the winter when the wind is blowing and it feels like the skin is ripping off your face and you are about to be buried beneath a giant snow pile. But, apparently, it's also cool enough for a New York ad guy to move to Minneapolis.

Former Strawberry Frog creative Kevin McKeon is heading to Minneapolis-based Olson after 11 years at Strawberry Frog. McKeon will fill the shoes of Dennis Ryan who left in June to open his own shop with fellow Olson alum Mike Fetrow.

Of the hire, Olson CEO John Partilla said, "Kevin has a track record of conceiving and driving highly effective, extraordinarily creative and truly integrated campaigns that deliver business outcomes on a global scale, and he understands Olson's model is built to spec for the realities of today's media landscape and empowered consumers. I cannot imagine a better fit for our agency's model or its ambitions."
