Whataburger Takes Stand On Texas' Open-Carry Gun

Whataburger is the latest chain to give the middle trigger finger to Texas’ antediluvian open-carry law. With that announcement the chain, with 780 locations in 10 states, has raised the ire of people who think guns should be seen, and then heard. People in Texas who argue that guns have rights too plan boycotts. Whataburger president and CEO Preston Atkinson counters that employees and customers are “uncomfortable being around someone with a visible firearm.”
