Conservative legal activist Larry Klayman has filed a motion to a federal judge asking the official to obtain a USB flash drive that with copies of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails from her private server. Clinton's lawyer David Kendall has the drive in his possession. "This court has a responsibility to preserve evidence and must do so to avoid its destruction," Klayman pressed in the motion. "Importantly, plaintiff has not requested to see the documents, hard and thumb drives at this time, but simply asked that this court take them into its custody for safekeeping."
