Dr Pepper Snapple Buys 12% Stake In BodyArmor

Plano-based Dr Snapple Group Inc. (NYSE: DPS) is buying an 11.7% stake in sports drink startup BodyArmor for $20 million, according to a report in the “Wall Street Journal.” BodyArmor is headed by Vitaminwater co-founder Mike Repole and its investors include National Basketball Association star Kobe Bryant, the “Journal” said.
