BIZ DEV: DDB Canada Named AOR For Rocky Moutaineer

Rocky Moutaineer named DDB Canada Vancouver as its agency of record. Working alongside OMD Vancouver, the agency has been tasked with growing the global brand by developing a new creative direction and marketing mix for the North American luxury tourist train operator. New work will launch globally in November. "Rocky Mountaineer is a great complement to the agency's travel and tourism practice and we're very excited to be working with such a passionate and entrepreneurial client partner who is open to innovative ideas," said Michelle Kitchen, executive vice president, co-managing director of DDB Canada. Added Nikki Hellyer, director of global marketing, Rocky Mountaineer: "The DDB and OMD partnership provides deep expertise in both the strategic and creative realms and will help us to further refine our global brand." Rocky Moutaineer spent $42.1 million on measured media in 2014 and $27.1 million the first six months of 2015, according to Kantar Media.
