Cari Weisberger Gains Traction As Director of Media Services

Interactive shop Traction has hired Cari Weisberger as Director of Media Services to oversee planning and buying at the agency. She will run the media discipline at Traction as it focuses on strengthening the integration between creative and media for clients.  

Weisberger is based in San Francisco and will report to CEO Adam Kleinberg.  She replaces Abe Snyder who has left the agency.

Weisberger is a veteran to the online advertising industry. At the start of her career in Boston, she was one of the founding members at Strategic Interactive Group, the agency that became Digitas six years later. She also worked at Universal McCann and has worked with a number of top brands including Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, Kodak, Tyco, CitiBank, Accenture, Energizer and American Express.  

Other agency stops included OMD, MEC and Catalyst S+F. For the past two years Weisberger has run her own digital marketing consultancy out of San Francisco.

The agency has added several clients this year including Lenovo, Charles Schwab and Dolby.
