Fox Drops On Tuesday, Rivals Not Much Better

Fox didn’t have a good Tuesday night in the third week of the new season. But its rival networks didn't have much luck, either

Three of Fox’s new shows this season -- “Grandfather,” “The Grinder” and “Scream Queens” running on Tuesday -- barely got over the 1.1 rating mark among 18-49 viewers, looking at Nielsen preliminary live program plus same day viewing numbers.

All three shows lost ground versus the week before. Fox averaged a 1.1 rating/4 share for the night -- down 24% from the week before.

NBC and CBS tied for the best results on the night with an average 1.9/6 among 18-49ers -- NBC was down 38% versus the week before; CBS, off 3%. NBC ran a highlight show of “The Voice” versus an original episode the previous week.
