Hackers cost the average American enterprise $15 million dollars in the past year, up 19 percent from $12.7 million in 2014, according to a new report from The Ponemon
Institute. About half of these losses came from denial of service attacks, malicious insiders, and malicious code associated with phishing attacks, which accounted for about half
of the lost revenue, according to the 2015 Cost of Cyber Crime Study.
