Hallmark is once again supporting Toys for Tots with the launch of four Star Wars itty bittys characters decked in holiday attire.

For each purchase of one of these holiday Star Wars branded itty bittys -- Chewbacca, Yoda, R2-D2 and C-3PO -- Hallmark will donate $1 to Toys for Tots.

Now through Christmas Eve, the special holiday Star Wars themed itty bittys are available for $6.95 each at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and online at Hallmark.com.

In addition to a monetary contribution, Hallmark will donate a variety of itty bittys plush toys to Toys for Tots. Hallmark anticipates that it will give up to $2.3 million worth of products and donations to Toys for Tots this holiday season. Last year, Toys for Tots provided toys to nearly 7 million children.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a not-for-profit organization authorized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. Now in its 68th year, Toys for Tots provides joy and a message of hope to economically disadvantaged children through the gift of a new toy during the Christmas holiday season.

This is the second charity-focused promotion the retailer has announced this holiday season. The first was a partnership with Best Friends Animal Society to help find homes for 2,000 shelter pets in the next two years.

To highlight this partnership, a new themed collection of Husky pups Jingle and Bell items will be available for purchase at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and online.

Over the next two years, as part of this partnership, Hallmark will donate $100,000 to Best Friends Animal Society that will be used to help offset pet adoption fees and get 2,000 pets out of shelters and into forever homes.
