REVOLVING DOOR: Liz Paradise Promoted To ECD Of McKinney

McKinney promoted Liz Paradise from group creative director to executive creative director. In her new role, Paradise will continue leading the creative on the Nationwide account, while aiding the agency with new creative opportunities. With more than two decades as an award-winning copywriter and creative director at McKinney, Paradise has won awards for work on Karastan, Audi, Polaris and EAS. She has served as a judge at Cannes, the One Show and Art Directors Club award shows. In early 2015, she led the team behind Nationwide's Super Bowl spot, starring Mindy Kaling. "Liz is one of the most kick-ass creative leaders in the business," said Jonathan Cude, chief creative officer at McKinney. "I am regularly impressed with her ability to lead the creative process in a way that delivers smart solutions to complex business problems. As ECD, and as someone who has spent her career mentoring, Liz will also be able to build agency-wide initiatives motivating creatives to continue to do the best work of their lives." Added Paradise: "I want to keep the energy up so that people are pumped to do great work day in and day out. Part of that is finding ways to mix it up -- to work more nimbly, try new approaches to ideation and experiment with team structure."
