Shari Day Elevated To CEO At Bohan Advertising

Nashville-based Bohan Advertising has promoted Shari Day to CEO of the agency. She retains the post of president as well.

Day, who was previously COO at the agency, replaces Kerry Graham, who is leaving the shop to form his own boutique agency that he said would focus on a wide variety of project work.

Day joined the 80-employee agency in 2010 as general manager of its office in Knoxville, Tenn. She began her advertising career in Orlando in 1988 at First Team Marketing, working in broadcast production. She shifted to account service in Knoxville and developed expertise in the healthcare, grocery and marine industries.

“We brought Shari to Nashville as senior vice president for operations and planning, and she has excelled,” said Chairman David Bohan, who founded the agency in 1990.

Day’s 25 years of client experience includes work for Saint Thomas Health, the University of Tennessee Medical Center, AAA East Tennessee, Sea Ray Boats, Azimut Yachts and Boston Whaler.

This fall, Advertising Age gave BOHAN its Best Agency Culture Award for its workplace environment, and Healthcare Marketing Magazine named it the 2015 Agency of the Year in its IMPACT Awards program.
