REVOLVING DOOR: Translation Hires Achilles Li As Group Creative Director

Translation hired Achilles Li as group creative director on the agency's NBA and Champs Sports accounts. Li will work closely with John Norman, chief creative officer of Translation. A native of Honk Kong, Li spent more than 14 years working in the HK and Shanghai advertising industries, working on Nike, Disney, P&G, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Nokia, Levi's, Jeep and Fiat, among others. Most recently, Li was executive creative director at Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai. "Achilles is a phenomenal talent," said Norman. "He has a fundamental understanding of cross-cultural storytelling and universal human truth that you only get from building campaigns for a global audience. This is a man who helped establish the brand voice of Nike Basketball in China. We're thrilled to have him as both a creative voice, and as a mentor to the young writers and art directors on our team."
