Translation hired Achilles Li as group creative director on the agency's NBA and Champs Sports accounts. Li will work closely with John Norman, chief creative officer of Translation. A native of Honk
Kong, Li spent more than 14 years working in the HK and Shanghai advertising industries, working on Nike, Disney, P&G, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Nokia, Levi's, Jeep and Fiat, among others. Most
recently, Li was executive creative director at Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai. "Achilles is a phenomenal talent," said Norman. "He has a fundamental understanding of cross-cultural storytelling and
universal human truth that you only get from building campaigns for a global audience. This is a man who helped establish the brand voice of Nike Basketball in China. We're thrilled to have him as
both a creative voice, and as a mentor to the young writers and art directors on our team."
