Twitter engineers didn’t do the work that went into relaunching its Mac app, this week, according to former employee Jonathan Wight. Rather, the social giant outsourced the project to a
third-party developer, Wight claims
in a tweet. After confirming the claim, The Verge notes: “There's nothing
scandalous about a software company employing a third-party developer to do work on its behalf.”
