Chase Sapphire Preps For Sundance Sponsorship

Chase Sapphire Preferred is prepping for its sponsorship of this week’s 2016 Sundance Film Festival.

The financial services company is a presenting sponsor and the official card of the festival for the sixth year. It is once again is offering cardholders insider access to events, people and films at the festival.

The partnership demonstrates the brand’s commitment to providing premium experiences for cardholders around areas they are passionate about, such as film, travel and dining. The brand offers cardholders valuable benefits to get the most out of their Festival experience, such as access to a priority box office line, screening tickets, film premiere parties, as well as access to a dining concierge to help them secure hard-to-reserve tables in Park City.

Chase Sapphire Preferred selects partnerships around the areas our card members are passionate about, such as travel and dining, says Lisa Walker, general manager for Chase Sapphire Preferred.

“We know that our cardmembers want to make the most of every trip and that’s why we’ve created an experience that provides them opportunities to take advantage of everything the festival has to offer,” Walker tells Marketing Daily. “From our priority box office line to film premiere parties and luxury accommodations, we offer a premium Sundance experience.”

Sundance is one of Chase’s most popular cardmember experiences, she adds. Packages are in high demand, often selling out within days of going on sale.

“There are cardmembers who come back year after year to enjoy Sundance and experience what’s new,” Walker says. “Our cardmember packages evolve each year, offering new perks not available to the general public.”

Chase Sapphire Preferred offers exclusive cardholder packages which provide a premium travel experience at the Sundance Film Festival – from lodging at Park City’s Silver Baron Lodge to a luxury dining experience at the exclusive chef’s table within the St. Regis Wine Vault.

Additional activities for 2016 include hosting the exclusive premiere party and several private cast parties. Chase also is collaborating with entertainment organization Indiewire to host “Indiewire In Conversation at Chase Sapphire on Main,” a series of intimate panel discussions with Sundance filmmakers and actors.  Part of the New Frontier program, Chase also is inviting guests to take a look at the future of filmmaking and storytelling through the lens of a virtual reality experience.

Film isn’t the only focus at the festival.

“We know that our cardmembers want authentic local experiences and cuisine while they travel, so we are offering several exclusive dining benefits at the festival,” Walker says.

Each day, festival attendees can watch renowned chefs create and prepare dishes at Chase Sapphire on Main. Visitors to Chase Sapphire on Main can savor delicious samples from the featured Park City restaurant of the day.
