Sony Emails PlayStation Plus Customers Membership Extension After Outage

Sony has sent out an email push to PlayStation Plus users that were affected by a network outage earlier this month. The email is offering recipients a one-day membership extension through a redemption code. Customers have until March 31, 2016 to use the code. "The extension will be applied to the end of your current membership," explains the email. "This applies to all accounts that had an active PlayStation Plus membership on January 4, 2016."
