Tesla Sues Supplier Over Falcon Wing Doors

One aspect of Tesla’s Model X crossover that stood out from the crowd was, or was supposed to be, its falcon-wing doors. That engineering feat, doors that open upwards, is difficult under any circumstances because of the necessity for a perfect seal against water. Now, Tesla has sued a German parts supplier for misrepresenting its ability to design and build those doors. The Model X is already delayed.
