Nissan Nixes Super Bowl 50

One year after returning to NFL Super Bowl advertising for the first time in 18 years, Nissan is back on the bench. The company said it has decided to skip Super Bowl 50. A company spokesperson affirmed that the big strategy now is leveraging its historic official sponsorship of 100 colleges and universities around the country that puts Nissan’s name, logo and products onto college sports events for the next four years.
