Fallon 'Pushes' Quicken Loans' First Super Bowl Spot

Mortgage lender Quicken Loans is advertising during the Super Bowl for the first time to raise awareness for its new Rocket Mortgage online platform.

Developed by agency Fallon, the "Push button. Get mortgage campaign" includes a 60-second spot that informs viewers how much homeownership and saving money affects the American economy, and how much the economy can be helped by making a mortgage easier to obtain. The spot will air during the first half of the game.

To complement this Super Bowl spot, Quicken Loans is introducing the Rocket Mortgage “Push Button. Get Stuff” sweepstakes giving away household items from, and inspired by, the commercial.

To that end, the ad's voiceover states: "If this new mortgage experience from Quicken Loans can turn an intimidating process into something less daunting, more people will buy houses. If more people buy houses, they will need kitchen gadgets, appliances and furniture for their house. We will then need more people to make those amenities. With more craftsmen employed, they will also buy houses."

Entrants are eligible to win a living room package, a Viking range, Kitchen Aid Mixers, Blendtec blenders, Shinola bikes). The grand prize is $100,000.00 meant to go towards purchasing a home or paying off a mortgage.

This culmination of the campaign follows two 30-second spots titled “I’m Listening” and “Mort”, along with numerous “FAQ” commercials that were rolled out in December and January to introduce the loan platform.

Fallon has worked with Quicken Loans on the rollout of Rocket Mortgage since September 2014. Fallon also developed Quicken Loans’ first brand campaign, “Buy In,” which launched in March 2015.
