Lee Enterprises Inc. Sunday announced a deal to acquire Pulitzer Inc. for $1.46 billion. The acquisition will add Pulitzer's 14 daily and 100 weekly newspapers, making Lee the fourth largest U.S.
newspaper publisher in terms of dailies owned and seventh largest in circulation.
