Hot Dogs Without Ketchup? That's Crazy, According To Heinz Super Bowl Ad

Who needs scientific proof that hot dogs and ketchup go hand-in-hand when Heinz has a "Wiener Stampede" of dachshunds attacking their favorite condiments in the brand's third quarter Super Bowl ad.

The 30-second ad aims to showcase Heinz as a more than just ketchup. The campaign builds on Heinz's 2015 ad campaign "Ketchup’s Got a New Mustard," that introduced mustard to the Heinz family.

The Super Bowl commercial launches a new campaign called "Meet the Ketchups," which introducing the entire family of Heinz ketchup, including Organic, Simply Heinz, Sriracha, and even Heinz in the iconic glass bottle.

In it, a massive group of dachshunds dressed in hot dog costumes make a beeline for various Heinz ketchup flavors, including a kid dressed in a to-go ketchup packet. Watch it here.

A 60-second version of the ad offers viewers a closer look at flavor options, and, of course, more dogs. See it here.

Heinz tapped the same agency that created its mustard campaign, DAVID, Miami, to create this campaign.
