The Wedding Is On; Now What?

With 26% of couples getting engaged in November and December, and even more in February, this is the season for wedding planning.  

This month, WeddingWire and Havas Worldwide New York are launching the client’s first campaign to help couples navigate the process of walking down the aisle.  

The campaign is designed to show the realistic and humorous side of weddings.  For instance, one spot shares clever exchanges between same-sex partners who have purchased the same wedding dresses. 

Another spot features a text message exchange between a couple discussing how they met with the girl saying her grandma would know they didn't really meet volunteering. 

The “We Bought The Same Wedding Dress” spot has garnered more than 67,000 views. And the “Sharing The How We Met Story” has more than 39,000 views

The digital campaign -- planned by Havas Media -- includes six spots and launched on Hulu and Facebook, and targets engaged and pre-engaged couples. 

The campaign will air through the first half of this year.
