Calgary Agency Sends Porn-Inspired Double Entendres to Clients For Valentine's Day

Calgary-based ad agency Evans Hunt has created a Valentines gift for its clients and some might classify it as a bit racy for a business gift. But Evans Hunt is an ad agency, and as we all know, ad agencies really like to push boundaries.

The gift consists of a box filled with customized sweetheart candies that are adorned with porn-inspired double entendres such as “Brief Me Good," "Project Manage Me," "Twist My Headlines," Talk Copy to Me" and "Lay That Type."

Of the gift's wittylicious nature, the agency said: "Remember that Valentine's Day episode of the Simpsons where Bart makes his own sweetheart candies? We thought, hey wouldn't it be cool if we made our own candy for ad agency peeps and the idea took off from there. After we came up with the idea, we took to the interwebs to find a vendor that could help us produce the custom candy. After we found one, it became a copywriting challenge because we could only create messages with nine characters per line and we wanted the lines to fuse clichéd Valentine's Day messages with an advertising twist. The rest of the idea was just a matter of coming up with a look and feel for the custom boxes, which we made in-house by hand."

Yeah, that's just buzzword bingo for "we wanted to revisit our junior high school bathroom humor days."
