REVOLVING DOOR: Deutsch Appoints O'Brien And Scheideler To Partner

Deutsch named Trevor O'Brien as Partner, chief technology officer in New York, and promoted Pam Scheideler to partner, chief digital officer in LA. O'Brien will report to Winston Binch, chief digital officer, and to NY CEO, Val DiFebo. He will lead the office's technology team, working across all accounts. In addition to client work, O'Brien will focus on building partnerships and new ventures with the tech start-up communities in both New York and Silicon Valley. Most recently, O'Brien was co-founder and technologist at The Experiment, a small design and technology studio. "I'm extremely excited to be part of the Deutsch team again, they are always moving forward, testing boundaries, and have an intense entrepreneurial vibe," said O'Brien. "We'll continue to be makers, investors, entrepreneurs and inventors and that's just on Mondays." Scheideler, who joined Deutsch in 2013, will continue reporting to Binch. Promoted from executive director of digital, she will lead the LA digital team, developing products that have never been made before, as well as focusing on social business growth. At Deutsch, she has led development on key marketing efforts, including Taco Bell's ecommerce platform, Ta.co. Prior to Deutsch, Scheideler was the head of production and operations at Google Creative Lab where she led both video and interactive production for advertising campaigns and product innovations. "Pam is a force of nature, an indispensable digital talent, and one of the smartest people that I know," said Binch. "She's been my right hand for years and has been key to the LA office's tremendous success. Having her at the top level of the company is going to give both digital and the agency rocket boosters.
