YuMe Urges Shareholders To Vote For Its Director Picks, Support Strategic Plan

Audience technology provider YuMe on Monday sent a letter to stockholders in advance of a May 27 annual meeting, urging them to support YuMe’s independent director nominees Derek Harrar and Craig Forman and its 2016 strategic plan..

The letter also offers highlights of the strategic plan, including a focus on upping revenue from brand marketers via YuMe’s direct sales channel; creation of a programmatic sales channel and complete ad tech stack (YuMe for Advertisers and YuMe for Publishers); and a reduction in operating expenses by $4 million year-over-year.

YuMe last week introduced its Cross-Screen Audience Guarantee, which offers ad delivery across screens so that brands only pay for impressions that reach their target demographics, as measured by either Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings or comScore vCE.
