Email Privacy Bill Expected to Pass in the House Next Week

The House is expected to pass an email privacy bill soon after years of stalling in Congress. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has scheduled a vote next week to push to pass email privacy legislation. The new bill would require law enforcement to get a warrant in order to access emails that are more than 180 days old.
