House Passes Email Privacy Act

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Email Privacy Act unanimously. The bill, which updates the 1986 Electronic Communications Privacy Act, will require law enforcement to obtain a warrant to read a citizen's emails. The bill now moves on to the Senate.
