Lipton will sponsor four culinary events this fall to be hosted by celebrity chef Michael Symon.
Called “Lipton’s Chef Fest,” the events will be held in Chicago, Washington D.C., Austin, Texas and Atlanta.
The events are designed to tie in with Lipton’s brand message by helping people to “infuse excitement” into everyday meals and enjoy them with family and friends.
Each event will feature meals paired with Lipton Iced Tea; appearances by Symon’s celebrity friends, local tastemakers and mixologists; and live music.
In conjunction with the events, the brand will release new recipes and culinary digital content through Food Network’s digital assets.
One co-hosted platform, LiptonBrightBites.com, will feature recipes from Symon and a new content series starring him and other celebrity guests.
Starting today and through Aug. 25, Lipton is running a sweepstakes offering prizes of trips to one of the Chef Fest events. Entry requires posting a photo of a favorite meal and Lipton combination and tagging @Lipton with #LiptonChefSweeps on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
Lipton will be encouraging fans to join the conversation about the events and sweeps, using the hashtag on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
