Consumer advocacy groups have asked the Indiana Supreme Court to appeal a recent decision which allows lawmakers to hold onto emails despite public records requests. In April, the court
ruled that it had no authority to intervene in legislative matters. Still the court said that lawmakers should release emails pertaining to lobbyists and campaign donations.
