While McDonald's Attempts to Kill Agency Profitability, There's Still Plenty of D&AD Awards to Be Had

While two strangely named ad agencies have combined forces and McDonald's is seemingly refusing to allow its agencies to make money, Saatchi & Saatchi has been busy collecting D&AD awards. The agency scored a total of 13 awards at the annual D&AD Awards held in London last Thursday. F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi (Brazil), New Zealand, Switzerland, New York, China, Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi (Argentina), London, Singapore and Conill picked up pencils.  

The multi-award winning Vangardist Magazine HIV+ Issue from Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland collected a yellow pencil and 2 wood pencils. London won a yellow pencil for Rekorderlig ‘Silver Skaters’, and a graphite pencil for Visa Olympics ‘The Heart’.

New York was awarded a wood pencil for General Mills Fiber One ‘Expecting’. New Zealand’s ‘Clever Kash’ product innovation for ASB Bank won a yellow pencil.

F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Brazil won a wood pencil for their Nissin Ajinomoto D&AD Poster. Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi Argentina’s Andes ‘Fairest Night of All’ won a wood pencil while Argentina with China won graphite for Changyou Online game developer ‘Playing Can’t be Bad’.

Conill won a wood pencil for Toyota’s ‘Mas Que Un Auto’. Singapore’s ‘Portraits’ campaign for Supatnuj Sorndamrih won a graphite pencil.
