Publishers are waiting for Facebook to weigh in on investor Peter Thiel’s shady involvement in Gawker’s legal troubles. As Recode writes: “What does Facebook, which has been trying
mightily to court the media industry … think about Thiel’s actions, especially given he is a prominent director of the company?” Well? So far, the social giant is staying quiet on
the matter.
