Experiential Love For NY

New York's Empire State Development is kicking off the 2016 summer tourism season with the "I Love NY" brand experience that includes a traveling pod and 30-stop tour.

Developed with agency Jack Morton, the experience features several activities designed to educate people about experiences and opportunities in the Empire State.

Although New York City receives the expected attention, the numerous other opportunities at places such as Buffalo and Niagara Falls also receive the spotlight within this platform. There's a brief questionnaire to identify an illustrated Travel Buddy who will reflect the visitor's personalized travel profile.

The Travel Buddy "recommends" places to visit that match a visitor's interests. Visitors can also test their knowledge about places to visit and things to do in the state, as well as explore the 11 travel destinations on an interactive map app.

Tour stops include state fairs, festivals, and events, including the Syracuse Jazz Festival, Taste of Buffalo, and Hudson Valley Garlic Festival, through October.
