Amazon is set to hold Prime Day, its annual one-day sale event to rival Black Friday, on July 12 this year. Prime Day was held for the first time last year -- Amazon's 20th anniversary -- during which
the retail giant sold 398 items a second. Last year, there were thousands of deals, offered every 10 minutes, and Prime Day smashed all sales records.
