At least for now, Apple is not in the business of creating TV shows, according to it’s SVP Eddy Cue. “If we see it being complementary to the things we're doing at Apple Music or if we see
it being something that's innovative on our platform, we may help them and guide them and make suggestions,” Cue tells The Hollywood Reporter. “But we're not trying to compete with Netflix
or compete with Comcast.”

With all of Apple's might, resources, and scale, Eddy Cue has not shown execution or thinking out of the box with Apple TV
Eddy Cue needs to take meetings outside of the normal circle he has and spend time with folks who have the right mobile strategies.
