IPG Mediabrands Taps Omnicom's Terry As Asia-Pacific Chief

IPG Mediabrands has raided long-time Omnicom exec Leigh Terry as CEO of Mediabrands Asia Pacific.

Terry, who reports to Global CEO Henry Tajer, most recently was the CEO of Omnicom Media Group across Australia and New Zealand, where he oversaw a network that has 900 people across 16 offices in seven international media businesses.

Known for his digital innovation work, Terry was responsible for introducing a digital practice at Omnicom’s OMD unit in London in 2000, before moving to Australia to launch OMD’s digital, data and direct operations Down Under.
