Space150 Appoints Ulli Appelbaum To New Strategy Role

Space150 has appointed Ulli Appelbaum as EVP strategy to lead the agency's strategy practice out of its Minneapolis office, but he is working across its locations in NYC, Los Angeles and Burbank.

In this newly created position, Appelbaum will oversee a growing team of seven strategists across the network, which are integrated with the agency's broader media, PR and social teams. He will report to founder and CEO Billy Jurewicz.

The 20-year veteran brings extensive experience to the agency, having worked at BBDO, Leo Burnett, SapientNitro and Fallon.

Most recently, Appelbaum founded and led First The Trousers Then The Shoes, a strategy boutique working with brands such as Bacardi and Land O’ Lakes, as well as a startup focused on mobile and social for new moms.

Throughout his career, he has worked with brands within international companies, including Danone, P&G, Unilever, and Nestle.

“We continue to invest heavily in strategic thinking and resources to build our business and create value for clients and partners,” stated Jurewicz. “Ulli is a rare breed of strategic mind that pushes clients and boundaries, and nurtures new dimensions in our work and teams.”
