Mediabrands Taps GroupM Vet Foster Kenny As CEO For EMEA, Rounds Out Regional Team


IPG Mediabrands has tapped long-time GroupM executive Caroline Foster Kenny as CEO for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, rounding out a reorganization of the Interpublic media operation that began when Henry Tajer took on the global CEO role last year.

Foster Kenny, who reports to Tajer, has spent more than 25 years in the media services business, the last 15 at WPP’s GroupM, where she most recently was global chief client officer at MEC.

Her appointment fills the last open role within IPG Mediabrands’ new regional leadership team. In July, Omnicom veteran Leigh Terry was appointed CEO, IPG Mediabrands APAC, joining Andrea Suarez, who was appointed CEO, IPG Mediabrands LATAM in 2015.
