To promote its products for inclusion in school lunches and snack times, Juicy Juice is getting in on the BTS clothes shopping action.
As part of its ongoing “Perfect Fit” marketing campaign, the kids’ beverages brand, which was acquired by Brynwood Partners from Nestle in 2014, has partnered with Macy’s to host a Perfect Fit sweepstakes and in-store events.
The grand prize is a trip to New York City for a $5,000 Macy’s shopping spree with stylists, a beauty makeover and $250 in spending money – plus a year’s supply of Juicy Juice products. Other prizes include Macy’s gift cards and Juicy Juice products.
To enter, parents can use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, by September 12, to submit a funny photo of one of their children in clothing that the kids have outgrown, or a funny story about a time that their kids outgrew their clothes. Those that enter via Facebook and then share their entries via Twitter, using #perfectfitsweeps, earn bonus entries. Entry requires that the parent has a child age 12 or under, and a Web-enabled mobile phone.
Juicy Juice is also sponsoring open-to-the-public in-store events at select Macy's locations in the Northeast and South on Saturdays through Aug. 27. The events feature beauty makeovers, styling tips, fashion “must-haves” and Juicy Juice sampling stations.
The sweeps is being featured on the brand’s Facebook page, as well as promoted on its Twitter and Instagram pages, and through influencer bloggers.
Juicy Juice’s current ad campaign, from Source Marketing, positions the brand as being “always the perfect fit” for kids because all of its products – including its water-plus-juice Splashers pouches, as well as its 100% Juice lines -- are made with juice, with no added high fructose corn syrup, cane sugar or artificial sweeteners.
A TV spot now airing (below), shows kids dressing in clothes that are starting to be a tight fit, with a voiceover that begins: “Kids never stop growing, but Juicy Juice is always the perfect fit…”
Since April and through September 1, Juicy Juice has also been running an instant-win game tied in with Disney/Pixar’s “Finding Dory,” with prizes including kids’ movie tickets, Juicy Juice products and downloadable activities.
Entry through the brand’s site requires registration and a code obtainable by purchasing Juicy Juice products bearing a code under their labels, or requesting a code from the brand during the registration process.
