Aetna Taps McKinsey's Edelman As CMO, Former Digitas Exec Expert On Digital

Former Madison Avenue digital vet turned management consultant David Edelman has been named CMO of Aetna.

Edelman, an expert on digital media, technology, data and how marketers can integrate and leverage them to become more effective organizations, joins Aetna from McKinsey where he co-led the Global Digital Marketing and Sales Practice, and served as CMO of McKinsey’s Marketing and Sales practice.

Prior to that, Edelman was executive vice president for strategy and analysis at Publicis’ Digitas.
