Uber Starts Mapping UK Streets

Uber has begun mapping the UK's roads as it aims to improve its pick-up and drop-off service across the country. The company has begun gathering data in London in a project led by former Google Maps boss Brian McClendon. It has already collected mapping information from the US and Mexico, and is likely to start spreading to other cities in the UK in the near future.
