The
Los Angeles Times Thursday reorganized its advertising sales department, naming Brian Kokes director of national advertising, and promoting Mickie Sullivan to director of motion picture
advertising, as part of a restructuring of services for movie advertisers. Kokes joins from the
San Francisco Chronicle, where he was national advertising director. Sullivan, who was motion
picture advertising manager, will oversee a new "multi-department team" comprised of ad sales, marketing, promotion, creative and customer service that will develop integrated plans surrounding new
movie releases. -- J.M.
