L.A. Times Reorganizes Sales Team, Forms New Movie Ad Unit

The Los Angeles Times Thursday reorganized its advertising sales department, naming Brian Kokes director of national advertising, and promoting Mickie Sullivan to director of motion picture advertising, as part of a restructuring of services for movie advertisers. Kokes joins from the San Francisco Chronicle, where he was national advertising director. Sullivan, who was motion picture advertising manager, will oversee a new "multi-department team" comprised of ad sales, marketing, promotion, creative and customer service that will develop integrated plans surrounding new movie releases. -- J.M.
