NY Bans Airbnb Listings for Short Term Rentals

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo approved legislation that makes it illegal to post short-term rentals on Airbnb, a huge blow to the Internet marketer. New York state law currently bans apartment owners from renting units for less than 30 days if they are not present. The new law goes further by preventing these people from advertising any listings that violate the existing law. The move will help regulators crack down on Airbnb listings.
