Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam commended AT&T's plans to acquire Time Warner and compared the deal to Verizon's plans to buy Yahoo. "It makes very good sense
for AT&T. We’ve gone the digital media route and they’re going the traditional media route," he said at the Intel Capital Global Summit this week. The comments come
after Verizon put a hold on the Yahoo deal after news of a massive data breach at Yahoo and reports that the Silicon Valley company was working with the U.S. government to spy on users.
