SendGrid, a cloud-based email delivery service, has added a consulting service to its repertoire in order to better support and increase the return on investment of email marketing campaigns.
SendGrid announced the availability of Expert Services on Thursday, a range of packaged in-house consulting services that vary across SendGrid’s Support, Customer Success and Deliver Services team members.
SendGrid’s Expert Services team can act as an extension to email marketers, supporting email reputation by monitoring email marketing campaigns, identifying deliverability issues, and optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI. Packages range from one-time support and onboarding programs to dedicated consulting service team members that track KPIs and diagnose any issues.
SendGrid’s email platform currently delivers over 30 billion emails a month, according to the company, and its client list contains AirBnB, Spotify, Costco and Uber, among others.
"A more effective email program can empower customers to increase engagement, decrease program costs and drive more revenue from their campaigns," says Leandra Fishman, SVP of sales and customer success at SendGrid.
SendGrid has had a busy month, adding new executive leaders and expanding its presence both internationally and locally.
At the end of September the Boulder-based company announced a partnership with local NFL team The Denver Broncos to support a hackathon promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Research and Math) programs, alongside FullContact. Ten days later, the company announced an international expansion with a new London office.
In addition, SendGrid also added two new C-level executives to the team in October. Pattie Money has signed up as the new chief people officer of SendGrid, after previously working in an HR capacity at TubeMogul, and Len Shneyder has joined SendGrid as the new vice president of industry relations after previously service in the same capacity at SparkPost.
