Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company intends to provide “privacy-protected, set-top box viewing data”  for media and entertainment companies. 605 says it intends to provide new products and services for media buying, planning, programming and audience targeting.

Kristin Dolan, who had been chief operating officer of Cablevision, is the founder/chief executive officer of 605. Ben Tatta, who had been president of Cablevision Media Sales is co-founder/president of 605.

Chauncey McLean, AMG’s co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, will be EVP of client Solutions at 605.

According to one report, 605 has not secured set-top box subscribers former Cablevision -- now Altice -- cable systems.

AMG originally got its start doing political marketing research for President Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns, using big data analytics and developed software to find and target TV programs to persuade voters. After that, it broaden its business to consumer brands to target audiences and optimize campaigns.
