Adobe Fined $1M Over 2013 Data Breach

Adobe Systems has received a $1 million fine for a massive 2013 data breach, in which 153 million user credentials were leaked online. The money will be split by 15 different states that investigated Adobe in the data breach. The company must also adopt tokenisation for all adobe.com merchant ID payment card numbers processed using the site ID, as well as monitor for any ongoing security issues.
