The group will develop global standards for fraud detection and prevention, which will be employed by its members for client brands and digital agencies. Each company in the partnership will dedicate resources or technology for fighting mobile ad fraud. Suspicious activity detected by Adjust’s filters will be reported to the ad networks through the available APIs. The APIs made available by Adjust to networks will provide the requisite data for ad networks to filter, exclude, and eliminate traffic that results in rejected attributions.
"We believe it's our job to fight against ongoing mobile ad fraud and this means dedicating specific resources to address this problem. Additionally, through this partnership with ad networks and app marketing platforms, we'll be working even closer together to ensure data efficacy, which will put us in a good position to make a considerable impact in the industry," Christian Henschel, CEO, Adjust, told Real-Time Daily via email.
“With Adjust’s fraud prevention suite, app marketers can now prevent and exclude low quality traffic from being attributed instead of detecting and solving for it,” stated Sid Bhatt, CEO of Aarki.
