Microsoft is reportedly proposing concessions that would let rival professional social networks access its Outlook programs. As reported by
The Wall Street Journal, the offer is part of
“a bid to win European Union antitrust approval of its $26 billion acquisition of LinkedIn Corp.” As such, “After the merger … rival networks would have access to
Microsoft’s Outlook add-ins program -- which allows third-party tools to integrate with Outlook … or application programming interface.”
