CTP Donates Digital Assets To Celebrate Its 20th Anniversary

Conover Tuttle and Pace (CTP) is celebrating its 20th anniversary by giving away its digital presence to 20 different nonprofit clients the agency has worked with over the years, both individually and as an agency.

"We felt like giving back to those who inspire us most was the most appropriate way to celebrate. And, in doing so, hopefully provide a platform for them to inspire others, as well," says Brian Heffron, EVP/Partner, CTP.

When visitors go to www.ctpboston.com, the traditional creative agency introduction is split in two, with one side detailing the project and the other having been replaced by one of 20 groups, including Massachusetts Animal Coalition and UTEC.

The agency is using its social-media profile, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn to promote stories involving these non-profits. The agency also received donated ads from more than 15 media vendors, including radio, digital, print and out of home to support these various organizations.

The featured nonprofits report site traffic has been three times more than the same period last year.

This is the first anniversary that CTP has celebrated in this fashion--past years have only included a party, says Heffron. "Our partners and the team at CTP have been moved by a lot of organizations. Some we have worked with or been exposed to personally. We talked as a team about which organizations made the most sense.

"Truthfully, we could have done 100 causes and it wouldn't have covered them. So we featured a combination of groups we work with and others that simply moved us but all of whom can benefit from added exposure and attention."
